Suspension, steering & alignment in Calgary
Calgary's potholes and freeze-thaw roads are brutal on suspension and steering. Worn struts, control arms, ball joints and bushings creep up slowly — you adapt to the clunks and the wandering without noticing how much grip and comfort you've lost.
We diagnose the actual worn component instead of replacing parts on a hunch, repair it with OE-quality pieces, and finish with a proper alignment so the car tracks straight and your tires stop wearing unevenly.
What you get
Struts & shocks
Worn dampers that let the car float, bounce and ride harshly, replaced in proper pairs.
Control arms, ball joints & bushings
The joints and bushings that cause clunks, wandering and uneven tire wear when they wear out.
Steering components
Tie rods, rack and steering linkage — the parts behind play, pulling and vague steering.
Wheel alignment
A proper alignment so the car tracks straight, steers true and your tires wear evenly.
Signs it's time
Diagnosed, not guessed
We find the actual worn part instead of throwing components at a clunk.
Alignment done right
We finish with a proper alignment so the repair holds and your tires last.
OE-quality parts
The right components for your car, so the fix doesn't come back in a year.
Calgary's potholes and freeze-thaw cycles destroy suspension components faster than smoother climates. A hard pothole hit can bend a control arm or knock the alignment out on the spot — and driving on it just wears your tires and other parts faster.
Suspension & Steering in Calgary — FAQ
Why is my car clunking over bumps?
Clunks over bumps usually point to a worn suspension joint — a control arm, ball joint, sway-bar link or strut mount. We'll road-test and inspect to find the exact part rather than guessing.
Do I need an alignment?
If the car pulls, the steering wheel is off-centre, or your tires are wearing unevenly, yes. We also recommend an alignment after suspension or steering work, or a hard pothole hit.
I hit a bad pothole — should I get it checked?
It's worth it. A hard hit can bend a wheel or control arm and knock the alignment out, which then wears your tires. A quick check catches it before it costs you a set of tires.
Can you service air suspension?
Yes — we diagnose and repair air suspension (common on Mercedes, Audi, Land Rover and some trucks), from leaks and compressors to the modules that control it.
